Have 1 hard drive so why is my computer saying Detecting Array

Hello,

Help, have 1 hard drive on my computer, that I built, now I am receiving this error message: Have 1 hard drive so why is my computer saying Detecting Array.

This is what is coming up on my computer, it won't go to desktop, NVIDIA RAID IDE ROM BIOS 4.84 Copyright (C) 2004 NVIDIA , Detecting Array.

I have a AMD Atholon 64 Processor 3200 onboard. Any advice would be helpful.

Check in the Drive section of the BIOS for anything to do with RAID. Disable anything you see.



Hello,

We have done that, the tech at the shop we take our computers too, also checked that. He explained that when a motherboard starts to go out, it will default to the original settings.
