Graphics Error

I have been having this problem with my Pc when ever a game enters full screen the computer crashes and the screen shows up like this:

It is not always that colour, I have seen it in green, blue, red and purple.

Here is a list of my computer spec's:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 8190MB RAM
Hard Drive: 750 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280
Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 (6001.vistasp1_gdr.090302-1506)
Motherboard: P5N-D

Well, what about your PSU? brand? model?
This is happened only when gaming or idle as well?

Only when opening a game the psu is no problem it ran fine for the last 8 months.

Never happens when he pc is idle and it also plays movies or full screen videos fine.

Try install the latest version of driver, if the problem still exist then it might be your card is dying...
Have another computer? or friend's?
You can try your card there to make sure whether the card is broke or not...
