Hardware Reserved Memory

Hi,
I have 2 pairs of patriot ddr2 4gb on my foxconn g31mx-k.
bios shows 4gb installed, but when i enter the resource monitor in task manager it shows me 779mb as a reserved memory

OS is Win7 Ultimate x64
although there is no memory remap in bios option i've uncheked max memory in msconfig, but it still shows me 3.24 mb usable.
does anyone have a clue? or the same issue?

I have the same issue using onboard video. This is normal, but you may be able to reduce it some. I'm not sure of the setting to change on your board.
