I want to put Steam on my external hard drive that I found a while back. It's a Seagate FreeAgent 1 TB hard drive, and uses a USB 2.0 to plug into my computer. I heard somewhere USB 2.0 is slow for games and eSATA is better, so I want to know if there's any such thing as a USB to eSATA adapter, but the other way around, as in on NewEgg and Amazon, there's always an eSATA port and a USB 2.0 end. I need a USB 2.0 port and an eSATA end.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't enclosures for internal hard drives only? You know, so if you got an internal hard drive that you don't want in your computer, you could use the enclosure to make it external?
