Hello.

Just got my Corsair Force GS 240GB it runs great.

I have a question.

Many people say use AHCI mode for better performance

I have the SSD as my main OS drive, most used apps and a game or 2.
I have to HDD drives in Raid 0 for storage and other apps.

On my ASUS Rampage IV I set it for Raid mode since I wanted to RAID my mechanical drives.
SSD is on the intel 6gb port (only 2 intel 6gb ports on this mobo)
Both Raid 0 HDDS are on the Intel 3gb ports

So when it boots it sais,

SSD - Non Raid member
HDD's - Member disk

Am I loosing performance for the SSD by having Raid turned on and not using AHCI (which I wouldnt be able to raid my 2 HDDs)

Or is it going to be the same performance as AHCI since the SSD is not part of the Raid array and it still show trim is activated since its not in Raid.

Hope that made sense.

Correct. Any drive not part of a RAID array automatically defaults to AHCI mode.
