WIN Registry Error

Hello,
I receive the following error message when starting WIN XP Pro:

"One of the files containing the system's Registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful."

This message occurs twice on each start up.

What can be done to cause the "successful recovery" to be permanent?
