Increasing volume in creative SB audigy 2

I upgraded my windows7 to windows 8 and my soud volume is weaker i barley could hear it.what can I do to fix it?

right click on speaker icon in taskbar (lower right), left click on sounds, left click on the speaker that has the green checkmark, choose properties, click on levels, and crank up the volume for each speaker.
