Seems to be a bit of overkill going on. What do you need 2 GTX 480s for? A space heater? For 1920x1200 a single GTX 480 is more than enough.

Dominators are overpriced, dont pay that much for a kit of ram, there are better ones for significantly less. The Gskill Pi series is almost as fast as the more expensive dominators, but runs at lower voltage so you can OC it and is a lot cheaper. If you are set on the dominators i would go for the CL8, the CL7 kit is not worth the added premium.

If you are going to spend that much on a PSU, buy a good high quality unit that is modular too. The XFX 850W is extremely good, and more efficient than that coolermaster unit, for $50 less.

Finally, skip the sound card all together, you likely dont need one unless you are an audiophile, onboard sound is quite good these days.

What is this rig going to be used for???

That is the ultimate test to know if you're going overkill or if you're under powered

@hunter315: Metor 2033 barely goes at 33fps with a single 480 card! Hmm wow I didn't know that

@snowgoer1998: I am going to use it for gaming and watching hd anime and tv shows.

+1 all around.

at the very least, wait a year or two to purchase the second GTX 480. i imagine you will find you don't need the second one for quite a while.

So does this suffice for gaming? And is there a cheaper 24" 1920x1200 monitor?!
