Is a WD Caviar Black 1TB, Model WDBAAZ0010HNC-NRSN which has the same rotation speed (7200rpm), data tranfer rate to/from (3Gbps), and a cache buffer size (32MB), a compatible replacement for a failed 1TB Samsung HD103UJ RAID 1 mirroring drive with similar specifications? Would it be better to locate/purchase a new 1TB Samsung HD103UJ to match remaining operational 1TB HD103UJ drive since I want to continue with a RAID 1 mirroring?
Installed a WD Caviar Black 1TB, Model WDBAAZ0010HNC-NRSN which actually was a Model WDC WD1001FALS-00Y6A0 when removed from Packaging. System rebuilt my RAID 1 mirroring configuration and computer is performing normally. No longer need response to the compatibility question mentioned above.
