I basically use the computer for msn, downloads, films and games (mainly, world of warcraft). My budget is max 700€ and I have been looking for laptops, but I'm not totally sure and I could go for a desktop (they end burnt and probably a destktop would last me a bit longer than 2 years). These are the laptops I have seen:

Asus K52JR-SX059V - 15,6" - 4 GB DDR3 - Core i3-350M - Ati 5470 (1gb) - HDD 500 GB - Bluetooth -Windows 7 --> I could get it for around 520€
Samsung R580-JS07ES - 15,6" - 4GB DDR3 - Core i3-330 - nVidia GeForce 310M (512mb) - Windows 7 - HDD 500GB --> Around 490€

Is any of those cards good for games? If not, what card would you recommend me for games and a desktop?

Thanks for your attention.

Both cards 5470M and 310M are low-end ones for gaming.
HD 5650M is the minimum card i would recommend for playing games on medium settings.
And for a desktop,it depends on the resolution that you play but if its like 1680x1050 you will be fine with a HD 5770

Both fail for gaming. The ATI card should do slightly better, but if you want to game I say look at something else. At the very least get a laptop with a mobile 5750, which is really the equivalent of the desktop 5570.
