I've been looking for a Pentium 4, 3.0GHz, 300MHz, 512KB forever!

If anybody could help me find one, I would be VERY grateful.

I found alot of P4, 3ghzs but they are all 800mhz...

A 300 MHz FSB?

Dont think they ever made a P4 with 300 MHz FSB. Lowest FSB a p4 has that im aware of is 400MHz.



As for 3Ghz cpu's with even a 400MHz FSB is non exsist that i can find on this list.

Although I did notice a 2.8Ghz, 400Mhz, 512KB cpu that close enough to your specs.

Why are you even bothered looking for a P4.? Is it for your antique collection or are you trying to upgrade (not sure if i can use that word with regards to a P4 nowadays).?

Woops, I somehow wrote 300MHz in a few emails and didn't even notice it so I put 300 in this thread.

Well, I'm trying to upgrade this computer that was given to me. The computer itself was free but I'm upgrading it as much as I can.

I don't have nearly enough money to buy a new computer yet so I'm just upgrading random parts of my Dimension 2350.





My mistake, the FSB has to be 400MHz.

i think you have Socket 478, your post is pretty weird though still. 300mhz still?

You can get i think max 3ghz or 2.8 easily.

Edit: From your above links it confirmed you have Socket 478.

Wow... I wrote 300 again, that's just frustrating.

I need 400.
