I Had A pretty Similar system to u (Omgitzfatal) until it drowned in a water Cooling Accident

Hey,

Maybe I should have set the fan speed to 100%..

And yes "Weirdguy99" That would have been a good idea

Were getting some really Good scores through, Cool stuff;)

Oh dear :S fisshy :( you most have been absolutely gutted : / **Goes and checks clamps are tight**

There's some weird goings on here, I'm pretty sure my OC'd 5850 isn't well over twice as fast as a HD4890, and notty's score is crazy for a 4770, beating a 4890 easily.

Gutted... yeah you could say that

d0 Stepping i7 @ 4GHZ 61'C Under full load (Prime 95 over 7 hours)
Sapphire HD5850 984MHZ & 1200MHZ 82'C full load
GA-X58A-UD7

I only saved my HDD's and DVD rom... That what you get for buying water cooling fluid in SA. Sigh. At least i got some money out of the company (Cannot be named legally) So im saving for my dream system again:( oh well

Its a pretty Nice OC on your 5850 Compared to a 4890 it could probably earn double the points (Doesn't really mean its twice as fast) Maybe weirdguy was running a whole lot of background Apps?

That 4770 is a beast you have to admit! 940MHz on the core! Crazy stuff.

The screen shots don't lie!

Thanks for your scores!

Ahhh, i was looking forward to this.
Congrats on the highest performing Solution so far!

Are you running after market cooling or just the stock stuff?

Thanks fisshy - although there's only 1 other 5850 posted and we're very close.

I'm running stock on the vid card, the CPU tho I have a Zalman CNPS10X Extreme. It's also important to note my ambient is a cool 24C because I'm in a basement.

This means HD5850 OCing WARRRR!!! Just kidding....nice score man

I can't top your score wolfram23 *sad face*

I OCed to 1080Core and 1230Mem and got something like 12834 points with 1.274V

Tryed 1100Core and 1230Mem and got loads of Artifacts, PC froze up, I had to hard restart, got a brown screen (lol) it booted into windows at 1100core with only 1.225V I then changed the clock back to 1000 and all is well once again.

Looks like if I want 1100Core I would have to use roughly 1.3V : /

Dunno how you got a higher score with 100Mhz less on the core and a CPU at 400Mhz less and without HT. Crazy stuff. :)

haha thanks, it's been a good card, i'm sure it's probably one of the highest binned 275 since it comes stock overclocked at 713 1508 and 1260, so you can only squeeze alot of extra performance out of the shaders, but it's nice to get over 285gtx performance for alot less when i bought it. Good scores all around, i was particular impressed with the notty22 scores, 3/4 the performance for less then half the price of my card

Had it set for 1280 x 1024 in windowed mode. Not sure why it says 1273 x 996. Odd. Also I ran the "Multi-GPU" exe for Furmark. But it still only says 1 active GPU. Not sure what the deal is there either.

Nice Job to Everyone!

Those 260 + 270's Have got some serious Scores, Loving it!

@ Dwisen, why is your card running so hot?

I think it might have been a bit of a fluke, as I can only get about 12830 now. Although, I did drop my BCLK to 175 from 200, so maybe that was helping the GPU out.
