Hello,
My Used 640gb Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.B has an average speed of 47 mb/s. I just bought it a week ago. (11880 power on hours)
My Western Digital EARs10 Green 1TB has an average speed of 82 mb/s and it's the same age as the drive above. (11900 power on hours)
My used Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1.5tb
is at 87 mb/s and it's newer then the above drives. (2200 power on hours)
Is the Hitachi drive dying?
Is it normal?
SMART scans show all of them are healthy except the Hitachi drive which came with a Bad Sector(just one). I fixed it with HDD Regenerator and haven't had another pending sector yet.
