I recently started to upgrade my system piece by piece.

Currently I have
Coolermaster Cosmos 1000 Case - old
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - new
Asus P6X58D Premium - new
Intel 980x - new
6 GB Corsair Dominator 12800 - new
Tagan Bz 1200 Psu - old
2 x evga 9800 gtx SLI - old
2 Western Digital 750Gb Caviar Black in Raid 0 - old
1 Western Digital 2Tb Caviar Green Storage - not that old

JBL studio L speakers through Onkyo 608
LG 55inch LED used as a Monitor

I do not want to go to liquid cooling.

What I am wondering now is what I should go for next for
GPU or GPU's and Maybe HD's
Money isn't really an issue as long as we aren't being ridiculous and talking about a $3k ssd

What would be the recommended upgrades for this system.
I am a heavy duty gamer and i like thing to look nice and play well.
I watch a lot of movies on my system and also use it for editing my art.

Everything looks good, best upgrade option would be an HD 5870, HD 5850 in CrossFireX or an HD 5970. Otherwise the GTX 470 or GTX 480 SLI. How much do can you spend? After that the next option would be to upgrade your hard drives, mainly SSD for bootup.

Yeah, get a 5870 in that rig, cos later on, when it starts to show its age, you can add another and crossfire for some major fps! then get a fast intel ssd in there for the OS, the other mechanical drives will be fine for now with just storing data, and lesser used apps/games.
