Hello,
I have 2 Nvidia 8800gt card(512 mb) each, that used to run on an SLI motherboard. Mother board had to be replaced by a non-sli one which cant support two cards at once...Only opition is to get another card..need help regarding finances..can i get a new card say gtx series for cheap and sell the old ones?

What's your budget for the new GPU? What resolution does your monitor run at? What games will you be playing?

Yes, you could sell the two 8800GT's to help fund the new card. I wouldn't bother with Nvidia GPU's at the moment, though. The ATI cards offer higher performance, less power consumption, cooler temps, lower noise, and DX11 support. The new GTX 470 and GTX 480 cards also offer DX11, but they use a lot of power and run very hot.

A 5850 offers very good gaming performance for the money at 1920x1080. A 5770 offers good performance at up to 1680x1050.
