Have anyone heard anything about some ServicePack for Tomb Raider 6?
There were a few patches for this game but as far as I know about 30% of
levels space wac cut out because of time luck for finishing work on the
game. Those patches fixed only the engine but levels are sometimes badly
textured or noncomplete...

I doubt they will release a Service Pack for it, especially as Core
aren't working on it any more. Shame really, but we always have the
level editor

Oh sorry, I meant the TR4 level editor. I doubt they'd release another
one with the AoD engine. Especially not the AoD engine actually...

I recall reading that the game IS the engine/tools, in AoD. We simply
aren't given the information needed to set it up as the editor. Perhaps
I read that all wrong.

I *bet* all it needs is a command line parameter ;-)

Have you guys tried pizzadoc's cheat for AOD? it opens up a command console
that lets you control quite a few paramaters. The console may include some
editor stuff, I didn't check it out, I only wanted the God mode and the
unlimited ammo. ^_^

yep, tried that as it was the first thing that allowed cheats. Now we
have that AoD startup frontend to play with. More features. But no
editor McG.

In the dead of night, a faint whisper from gonzo was heard, at about
02/28/2005 11:57 AM, and I could have sworn it said ...

I take it that what you were trying to ask about was the "patches" for AOD.
Yes, there are (were?) three of them:
common name (filename, yyyy-mm-dd)
------------ ----------------------------------------------
V42 (TRAOD_PC_PATCH_V2.exe, 2003-07-04)
V49 (traod_pc_patch_v49_all_lang.exe, 2003-09-07)
V52 (TRAOD_V52_PATCH.exe, 2003-09-27)
Note: I can not remember whether I named the files, or if they came
with those names. Nor can I guarantee the dates.
Any of them will work, you do not need all of them. Each successive one
includes all previous patches.
This would make you think that you should download V52 since it is the
most modern. However, I have heard a lot of people say that does not
work for them. There was some speculation that it was only meant for
European versions (maybe only English as well, I can't remember)
I would try each in turn, to see what it does for you. That is what I
did. At worst, something goes wrong, and you can do a fresh install and
start again. I'm running V52.

Yep, I know that - I was writing that I knew about those I was wondering
if there's any REALLY BIG patch (Service Pack) for AoD which fixes not only
game engine but also levels quality (textures) and reveals all places that
are locked in not finished version of the game.

No, they never 'finished' the game. Sadly. There is no 'service pack'
for AoD anywhere, only the patches you already know about. We in
a.g.t. have posted our wishing for one many times, but not about there
being one.
SO...if it turns out there actually *is* one, myself and many others
will be very happily surprised!
