Thinking of purchasing a new Motherboard, but haven't decided found any RAM for it yet..

I would need something 4GB or above, as well as something that could handle advanced multi-tasking along with gaming.
Price range of £40-£60, and of course be able to be brought in UK.

Two selections I've had offered by a member of the forum, Is there anything better? and If not, what performs better out of these two for what I need? Specially as there two different GB ratings.

-If anyone knows of a better MOBO at a decent price, which offers Core unlocking, as well as steady OC'ing please comment.

If you want to run in dual channel mode, don't use three sticks of ram on any amd board; use one or two sets of 2x2 gb instead. The gskill ripjaws is what I use on my 880G biostar board, and they work great.

The Corsair triple-channel kit won't work for you. It has three RAM sticks and will make that mainboard run in single-channel which hurts performance a bit. If you want 6GB, get one 2x2GB kit and one 2x1GB kit.

Suggestions:
Kingston 2x2GB
Corsair 2x2GB

You can get that G.Skill kit with lower timings that you linked, but you won't notice any performance improvement.

I guess I should really read up on a few things, as I've not really understood, I figured 4 Dimm slots would allow me to have a set of 3. Not really figured out the whole single-channel and Dual channel and even Triple.
