[resolved] RAM dead?

Hello Tom'sHardware fourm-goers. I had a quick question regarding a mistake I made. It turns out that my mistake came without punishment. I thought I had killed my RAM by plugging it in while the mobo was still powered., but it turns out it was inserted wrong.

Memtest ran with 0 errors on one pass, and I even was able to update my RAM settings to run at the correct volatage and wattage (Something I hadn't done when I first built my computer, oops!)

It is probably the RAM damaged, but it could be both.

Would you suggest getting spare RAM just in case the Motherboard kills the Ram when it's inserted? (Not sure if this happens)

I probably wouldn't as that would mean you'd need to replace your motherboard, so could get more RAM at the same time; but you did, and it worked fine, then you'd have some extra RAM to use.
