Alienware m15x or msi gx740

ok now the build from alienware m15x is
Intel core i7-720qm
4gb ram ddr3 1066mhz
500gb hdd
1gb gtx 260m
this build costs me around 1799 dollars

msi gx 740
the same above specs except for the graphic card which is 1gb gddr5 ati mobility radeon 5870.price 1499 dollars
now all i am gonna use my laptop for is gaming.now from what i have heard the 5870 pounds the gtx 260m.but people tell me that no way will any alienware be slow when it comes to gaming.is the mobility radeon 5870 powerful than the gtx 260? why is it that the msi costs 300 dollars less with the same specs
the alienware weighs 4kg against msi 3kgs

The Mobility 5870 is way more powerful than a 260M

That's right ^ HD 5870M performs significantly better than a GTX 260M.
I don't know the exact reason that why MSI is cheaper but i think its because it doesn't have the looks of the AW M15x or some extra stuff such as illuminated keyboard
Also the build,LCD and keyboard quality of M15x is better

I have an MSI gaming laptop and i love it to death. Though I recommend hooking it up to a screen of some sort and using a mouse and keyboard. As other said, the build and keyboard quality isn't as good as alienware's laptop, but when it's all hooked up to a Monitor, performance is king right?
