More about : acer netbook battery advice Ubrales August 13, 2010 1:50:16 PM Leave it in-place - do not remove the battery! The same applies to laptops too. Battery usage is ok when you are away from an AC outlet - if a 110 Volt AC outlet is available, use the AC adapter and the battery will gradually get fully charged as you are using the computer. Your Netbook has a Lithium battery, and Lithium batteries will have a longer life if they are between 50% and 100% charged. It is not advisable to run down (flatten) this battery frequently.
