IRQ Conflicts.

I need step by step instructions on how to change the IRQ assignment for my sound and graphics cards.

Wow, this is something that people haven't needed to do since the early days of computing. Most modern computers will not allow you to change the IRQ of your device. In the older machines where I've been able to do this the option has always been in the BIOS.

Are you sure that you have conflicting IRQ assignments? Perhaps your specific issue can be ameliorated simply by installing/reinstalling the latest drivers for each device, and if that fails then I'd move your GPU to a different PCI-e port (under the assumption that it is in fact a discrete GPU and not integrated).

Yopu can easily change the IRQ assignments by the order in which you install the devices. Why do you need to change them ?
