AMD AM2 DH w/ AMD AM2+ DC 7850

Hello, building a pc for relitive, everything connected, tested the GFX card and it works, HDD works everything boots up. There is no beep but there is also no picture on my screen. The motherboard that I am using is my old AMD M2N/M2N DH that has an AM2 socket. The processor I have is a AMD A64 AM2+/DC/7850 which was under the AM2 category on the website that I purchased it from, but I fear it may not be compatible. Can anyone confirm this or provide any hints to what the problem may be. Also if its not too much to ask, if the CPU is not compatible, any suggestions for a cheap compatible motherboard.

I don't see the Athlon X2 7850 listed as supported on your mobos CPU support list:

You have a Asus M2N DH. So it looks like you need a CPU from that list to get it to work.

I thought it would be something like that . Anyway, buying a new motherboard isnt much of a problem
