TRANSCEND 500GB EXTERNAL DISK FAILURE

Hello,
I bought an Transcend 320GB hard disk and in NTFS format, I have been trying to copy files into it as a backup device then it suddenly stopped working and from then... I cant access it on any computer... It doesn't appear either....??

I also experience the same problem and im sooo mad about my lost data... tried recovering but,,, takes two days to get to about 1%.... HELP!!
