Last response: in Motherboards

I have a Gigabyte P67 UD3 and apparently need to set my hard drive to IDE in order to install my new Samsung 2TB's new firmware update.

But...I don't see where/how in the BIOS I'm supposed to do this? There don't seem to be any menus where the two choices are AHCI or IDE. Anybody know?

Second option (PCH SATA Control Mode) under Integrated Peripherals.
