I tried plugging a LEXAR USB into my MAC today, hoping it would work. The light on the USB drive comes on (and stays on as if its "charging" ). The USB shows up in disk utility, but gives me no option to select to verify/repair the disk.

I need the data off of this drive as it has all of my grade 12 assignments and study notes on it. PLEASE HELP!!!

Check to see if the LEXAR USB is either formatted in NTFS or FAT, cause for me when I plug in a USB with NTFS format it won't let me open it as Mac does not support it.

Thank you very much. :)
I also was able to go to the computer technicians at school and they also managed to recover all my files.
Thanks for the answers.
