My Question is..........
Can anyone tell me,

if the Kingston Hyper X

DDR3 KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX Memory kit

will run and perform ok on the Asus M4A89GTD/Pro3.0 USB Motherboard

because I can't find it listed in the memory specs

of the motherboard manual. I have not installed them yet.

I will be using OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

with the Amd Phenom II 1100T Hex Core Processor

and the Corsair Professional HX 850 Wat PSU

Your Knowledge Is Apreciated

Just because it's not listed means little since you can't expect every ram module currently produced to be tested on the board.
I would say it will probably work fine since i notice many 4GB Gskills modules work.
There's only one way to find out and that's to install them.
For best results set the voltage to vendors spec 1.65v in bios.
Otherwise they'll run at mobo default 1333Mhz 1.5v.

Kingston
KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX has made random system freeze with my asus p67 sabertooth B3 when using 1600MHz XMP mode only. Especially fast hang if using 2 sets of them (16 GB). 1333 MHz was working fine. Same problem existed in win xp and win7 x64 and even in memtest86 without any other devices than graphics gard and DVD connected. Prosesses, keyboard, mouse do not respond anymore ...

When changed to another Kingston memory KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX no hanging exist anumore !
NOTE: KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX is Intel Sandy Bridge supported memory!

Hi there, I am just trying to stabilize this memory with an Asus Crossfire V 990fx board. Memtest crashes it before it completes when the system is set to automatic. Basically, you have to set this ram up, and even then it is somewhat dodgy. I can't even get both sticks of this paired kit to post... Not even at a slight overvoltage of 1.700v. I dunno, shoulda sprung for pricier ram i guess... Good ram should be stable OOB imho :p
