Hi Guys,

Today my new 2 day old computer (the computer was working fine before hand) froze and then would no boot up windows. When i entered the bios it showed that there was no Hdd. The hdd was not making any weird sounds What do you think the issue is?

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1tb

Check the manufactures website for how the BIOS should be setup. incorrect RAID or SATA controller setting will cause this. also put your hand on the drive when the computer turns on. can you feel it working?

also, try a factory reset on the BIOS, it could have bad data. (this is typically done with pins on the motherboard but can also be done inside the BIOS setup menu.)
