Hello,

my ethernet card is not autodetecting wireless connection any longer. It use to work fine. It's quite an old computer but the ethernet card light is blinking and it worked fine a few days ago. I was doing something and I think I changed an option by mistake. how can I fix it? now I have to plug in an ethernet cable for internet but I would rather have it wireless again using the ethernet card.

Try turning off wireless security in the router temporarily and see if wireless works again. See literature which came with router for how -- or download manual from maker.

If it works, it suggests you changed the wireless security type or password in the wireless adapter's (or Windows) settings. Check the password and security type in use in the router and set the computer's wireless adapter accordingly.
