None detect

Hello,
hi..my second sata hd is on in the bios but will not let me go off the error screen or boot to the os on the first sata drive(vista).It is a WD3200js 320gb WD Cavier SE. Drive par. 625142448. Broken?

Q: Are you using that hard drive for that system for quite some time or is it from another system and you just installed it there?

If YES, you need to reformat that hard drive and install new operating system due to registry conflicts.

If NO, your drive can either be nearing its death meaning it has a lot of bad sectors wherein it some of the vital components for startup is missing or the vital components were corrupted due to a virus or malware.

If its due to viruses or malware, you would still need to reformat the drive or try saving it by plugging it in a working system and try to clean it. If its nearing its death then you need to replace it.
