How to remove ghost 2003 disk id from hard drive?

Can a Ghost 2003 disk.id be removed from a cloned hard drive without damaging the Ghost image?

My goodness, I though that I was the only person still using Ghost 2003. Don't know your answer, though. I found allowing Ghost to put ID on the drive had bad effects on drives with 4K alignment. That version is so old that it never heard of 4K.
