Buying more RAM

Hi, so my question is I have 3 sticks of g.skill 2gb 1600, and I want to buy another stick, so, would there be a problem if I buy a kingston or corsair stick?? 2gb 1600?? even if the cas, and those other things are different?? thanks

Be more specific with links to the exact ram in question.
It's never a very good idea to mix ram with different timings and voltages.

Your board is setup for ram in 3 stick tri-channel mode.
DDR3 tri-channel ram is sold in 3 module kits.
Adding dual channel ram will work but will effect the ram mode depending on your mobo's dimm channels.
You might run in dual or even single channel on some of the dimms
Buy either another tri -channel 6GB kit or a 12GB kit.

hmmm the thing is my board does not support tri-channel, I bought the tri-channel because I didnt had enough money for the 8gb kit, so I actually wanted to have dual, guess its better if I sell the tri channel and buy a new 8gb kit
