Hi there,

I'm about to purchase a new system. I currently have the 24' Samsung 2493HM. It has a max res of 1920x1200 and I absolutely love it. It's a top monitor. Unfortunately it seems its impossible to find them anywhere these days (i'm in Australia).

So, I am after a second monitor so i can run dual displays. Does anyone know of a 24" monitor with the same native res as the Samsung i own? One i have found is the Samsung 2443BW+. It seems similar with a different finish to the outer shell. I am really hoping to get a second monitor that will be as close in actual physical screen size to the first!

both the HP and Dell monitors look pretty brilliant. they both oftenrotate to vertical which is often very handy.

I am now considering the possibility of instead getting 2 22" monitors, to put either side of the 24" samsung. the cost of 2 22" monitors is pretty much the same as a single 24". the only thing, is all 3 monitors would have the same HD resolution, so program windows and text would look larger on the 24" then the 22" side monitors, which could kind of suck...

i guess the aspect ratio for the 22" is 16:9 right?
