Hey people

I have an old computer Fujitso Siemens Scaleo P with a AMD690VM-FMH mother board.
I want buy a ati 5770 but as far as i know my motherboard only has a PCI express 1.0, can the 5770 run on a pci express 1.0 with good performance or will the performance drop be to much to make it worth it. How much performance drop is it? I currently have a Nvidia Geforce 8600gt is it worth the upgrade considering the performance drop?

And finaly is a 400w psu enough for the card?

Thanks :)

Edit: Don't know if it makes a difference but i am considering getting the XFX version of the graphics card.

if the pci-e 1.0 is x16 then it should be no problem but a 400w PSU may be a little too weak, what brand is the PSU?

yup, pci express 1.0 should not be a problem, i have a gtx 260 on a motherboard with pci express 1.1 and still get 30fps on crysis at 1920*1200 on high
PSU may be a problem tho.... :heink:

im a little afarid that your PSU wouldnt be able to handle that card but i could be wrong, atleast make sure its pci-e x16 because if it isnt it will bottleneck you GPU performance.
