Memory Speed and Usage

I have a Core i7 990x and 3x2gb corsair chips that support tripple channel @ 1600mhz
Now my windows experience memory rating is 5.5 my hdd is faster than that(5.6).
Is this because I have Windows 7 32 bit installed? Windows says only 2.49gb is usable.
The tripple channel support is somehow disabled?
I'm planning to get 64bit windows installed tomorrow or something.

Ok I just looked at the info below and I see that 2555mb is available for grahics memory.
The card alread has 1500mb on board whats going on there?

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU X 990 @ 3.47GHz 7.6
Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB 5.5
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 7.9
Gaming graphics 2555 MB Total available graphics memory 7.9
Primary hard disk 455GB Free (466GB Total) 5.9

More about memory speed usage
  1. It is likely that the 64-bit version of Windows will fix it.

The 32-bit version could only see 4GB of your 6GB of RAM.
  2. Leaps-from-Shadows do you have any idea why it seems my ram is being used as video memory?
  3. Graphics cards have had this ability since the AGP days. It uses the system memory to store textures when you're playing games, so they load quicker.

My GTX 570 has 1280MB of its own, plus it reserves 2815MB of system RAM, for a total of 4095MB of graphics memory.
  4. Okay cool. I was able to get win 7 pro 64 installed and experience rating on memory is 7.6 now :) Do you know about the CPU? Bus is 133 then multiplier is 21 which is 2793 or so. I have speedstep, and turbo enabled. So speedstep will bring it up to 3.4ghz when needed? And turbo?? Short time over clocked when needed?
  5. I'm not sure what speed that CPU will down-clock to when idle, but I'm sure somebody else will know. The Turbo speed would be 3.73GHz max.
