APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Before July (Sooner the better)

BUDGET RANGE: $900 CAD (Or lower, i can only spend another $200 on the monitor, mouse, etc.) After Rebates

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: School work, Games (New&Old), Multimedia, Surfing the web

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS

PARTS PREFERENCES: I would prefer Quad-core CPU (Preferably i5-750 or Phenom II X4s) a decent graphics card, 1TB hard drive

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe (Don't know how and don't know if it's good for the system or not)

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No (I'm not that dedicated of a gamer, yet)

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Don't really know, as high as the graphics card can support i guess

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: A case with a glowing fan would be cool (har, har?), as future-proof as possible and a case that can fit some future upgrades. Also, i don't know too much about these things so bare with me if my post might not make much sense. Please try to find the parts on

Thank you for your help and time!

CPU Phenom II x4 955 $172
MOBO GA-790x-UD3 $106
above 2 combo

RAM G SKill Ripjaw DDR3 1600 7-8-7-24 4gb kit $122.5
Case Anted 300 Illusion $70
HD Spinpoint F3 500gb $58
GPU 5850 $294
PSU OCZ Fatal1ty 550W 80+ $70 w/ $20 MIR
Optical Cheap $26 one

Total comes to $895 before $20 MIR, shipping and taxes.

Throw in an ASUS VH235T-P Black 23" 5ms Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 50000 :1 $180

Bear in mind, that MOBO can't xfire and that PSU won't handle 2 5850's.

However, for the budget, that's probably the best gaming rig you can get. links don't seem to work well so just manually search for the parts.
