HDD problems

Hello,
ok, ive installed windows 7 onto a SSD card. and now i wanting to put a HDD in to put my games and music onto. my computer wont reconive the HDD at all. not in the bios or the my computer screan. but if i go to system propteries and then go to device management its there but i cnt tell my computer to read it...

Right click computer and select manage, click disk management, it should ask you to initialize your disk hit next then format it. If it doesn't ask you, click on your specific disk and format it then it should show up, default values should be fine.
