Best Components for a core i5

Whats the PC going to be used for ? Also if you have a budget of 1000 why can you only spend 175 for the GPU ?

Whats your monitors rez ? do you need a OS ? Read the sticky how to ask for help so people can better help you...

Hey friends I'm building a new PC with a core i5 processor, I'm willing to spend around 1000$ USD can u please help me finding the best components. I'm concerned about the graphic card as well, and can spend 175$,,,,,

I'm going to use my PC for gaming, Programming, and in graphic designing(Mya, Photoshop etc...), I'm sorry I'm new to this forum, I don't need a OS, and IF I can manage I'm willing to spend more than 175$ for the graphic card........Thank you for the respond, really appreciate your help......1ooo$ is with the processpr.............

Maybe look into a build like this one below, you did not tell us your monitors rez so i fit the best GPU i could in. The i7 860 IMO will be a better CPU for mya, PS work. It would help to know what is more inportant to you gaming or graphic work because you could go the i5 750 with a HD 5850 that will give you better FPS in games but a tad slow CPU for PS mya.

I would preffer gaming, can manage Graphic stuff with office computers...........Thank u soo much,,,, So if Gaming is more important do I have to make any changes???? And what about Asus Motherbords are they better??? And the GPU is it Nvidia or the Ati better.......I'm sorry I'm yet to get the Monitor and it is a 17' samsung..........Really appriciate your help friend............

Asus and gigabye mobos are both good, for a 17 monitor you really dont need that much GPU power i would keep the CPU as is and then down grade the GPU to a HD 5770 and then maybe up the HDD to a 1TB seagate 7200.12
