Finding compatible RAM modules

Hello,

I purchased 6GB of Corsair Dominator GT RAM late last year. The specific model number is CMT6GX3M3A1600C7[1].

However, I'm seeing that particular RAM is no longer stocked (seems like it has been discontinued).

I'm looking to get 6 gigs more but not sure if there are any compatible modules out there. Or am I out of luck and would have to get a new set modules for the entire 12 gigs of different kind?

It is difficult to find something that matches it in latency and speed. This as close I got http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Maybe swapping over to a 3 x 4GB kit would be the way to go.

Rolli, Thanks for the response. It does seem like the closest match. I'm guessing it would not be compatible with the existing RAM due to latency differences. Am I correct?

They most likely will run together at the slower setting but there is always a chance of issues.
