My Screen Recorder is one of the best screen recording tools. Records your screen and audio from the speakers or your voice from the microphone - or both simultaneously. It's easy to use, and records directly to standard AVI or WMV format files. Perfect for tutorials and demos. Download here: http://www.deskshare.com/screen-recorder.aspx
I have used two kinds of screen capture program. One is fraps (http://www.fraps.com/) another is camtasia(https://www.techsmith.com/video-editor.html). For recording gaming video i prefer the former one. Fraps seldom causes any fps drop during the game. And as for online video recording, i prefer the latter. But there is one troublesome issue of Camtasia. The output is .CAMREC that cannot be play on third-party players like Windows Media Player and vlc, you must convert it to MP4 or avi before using every time. You can see how to do it in: http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/camrec-to-avi.html
