4850X2 Heat, is it safe?

Hey guys I have a Sapphire 4850X2 and when playing some games, especially more demanding games, it heats up to about 73-75c. Its about 54c idle. There is no overclocking on this card. Is it safe?

Rest of my system

AMD Phenom II 550 BE 3.2Ghz (Yes a 100Mhz O'C, but I only have stock cooling)

3GB RAM

2xHDD

ASUS m4a78 Plus Mobo.

My case is well laid out, and I have neatly tied up cables. I have four 120MM fans.

yeah 73-75 is a nice temp, i would start worrying at 90C and up

Thanks guys, thats a big relief. I actually have 2 120mm fans pulling exhaust duty right by this card. On a side note, how high would say I could O'C?

well i would OC until you get artifacts or temps reach 85 at load. if you start getting artifacts then youll need to lower your clocks a little. cant really say more because i dont know much about that card

Temps are fine dude

My Current 9800GT goes upto 90c while gaming(Modern warfare 2 )!! But it still runs fine.
Don't worry until it is under 85c

Thanks guys. Big relief. My 9800GT never managed to get above 60c. I love my 4850X2 though. Best $200 ever.
