Upgrading Graphics Card?

Hi,
I'm tired of my computer giving me poor 3D opengl performance for things like SketchUp, Rhino3D, Max etc.
I've formulated my question accord to the forum sticky below.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within 1,5 months

BUDGET RANGE: Max USD $150

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Rhino3d Modeling (OpenGL), SKetchup Modeling (OpenGL), Indesign,

Illustrator, Autocad, Photoshop. Hardly ever game

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: ATI Radeon X1950XT 256MB and ThermalTake KK450 (350w, 450w max)

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: Intel Core2 6420 @ 2.13GHz, Asus P5B-E Plus, 4GB RAM, running XP now, upgrading to Win7 soon

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Will buy locally in Shanghai, China on Taobao

PARTS PREFERENCES: NVIDIA only

OVERCLOCKING: ?

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050

Well for that budget in the US the best card you can get would be a HD 5770

Hi niklas,
But that's an ATI card, right? How about a Nvidia card? As I mentioned I'm not into gaming, but want to get better OpenGL support. My current ati isn't performing well in those applications.
