I recently bought a new Asus laptop (N56VZ) and a new Intel 520 120GB SSD.
I had made a back up disk with AI recovery software from Asus to get the OS files from the HDD to a Blu-Ray ( disk contains OS,Asus bloatware, drivers).
Then I swap the original 1TB HDD with the 120GB SSD. Then I used the Blu-Ray disk to install the OS, drivers and bloatware on the SSD. After that everything was working fine, just had to download some drivers, updates, etc. Now it's really fast but there is one thing that bothers me.
When I go to "My computer-> OS (C: )" it says that there is 27.7GB of the 86.4 GB is available.
How come there is only a total capacity of 86.4GB when it is a 120GB SSD?
What I also don't understand is that it means I've already used 58.7GB (86.4 -27.7) but I barely installed anything.
And when I open the C drive and highlight all the folders (users, program files, windows,...) and use properties to check the size of the folders combined it says a total of 28GB but that isn't even close of the 58.7GB I apparently used.
