Service pack 2 has a bad PCMCIAdriver. It will not recognize TexasInstruments 1130,
which is the usual cardbuscontroller on old laptops.
As a result, I cannot use any pcmcia device.
Microsoft himself has written about it already 2 years ago: Q304688
But their advice is always the same: connect to windows update.
Now I cannot connect to internet since I use a pcmcia-modem. How can I get an offline
patch????
