The RAM is not listed in Device Manager.

In your Start/Windows menu, right-click on Computer and select Properties. The window that pops up will list how much RAM you have installed.

If you don't have Vista SP2, or Windows 7, all you will see is the memory available to windows... Video memory and other component memory will slice off the total, so while you may have 4GB installed, you'll see 3+ available...
