Dual monitor issue with 5850

Hey Guys,

I just bought a Asus EAH 5850 DirectCU and am having trouble with my monitors. I have two Acer vga monitors 20/19", both work when plugged into the DVI slot on there own but when i try attaching the second to into the HDMI slot with a DVI adapter it's not detected. Am i missing something or can you not run a vga monitor with a DVI adapter into an HDMI slot.

Do i have I have to get a DP adapter and run my second monitor through that?

What? Have you got a VGA cable into a DVI adapter, and then into a HDMI adapter?
