I'm not sure what currency you're talking about, ($50,000 would buy a pretty godly computer) but I know that 600W is overkill for that system. I would buy a quality 350W, maybe 400W power supply (Corsair, Coolermaster, Seasonic or Antec are usually good)

Incorrect. An Intel processor will work fine with either an nVidia GPU or an ATI GPU. Similarly, an AMD processor and an nVidia GPU or an ATI GPU will get along just fine.

In general, ATI products are offering more/better features (DX11, Eyefinity) right now, and they're usually cheaper than similar nVidia products as well. The only problem that you can run into is that there are few AMD motherboards that support SLI.

No, there is no preference.

Intel/nVidia = AMD/nVidia = Intel/ATI = AMD/ATI

i saw some ( i admit few ) ati cards that worked better ( more fps ) with amd proc and chipset than with intel proc , plus even AMD says its better to co with AMD Chipset+ATI GPU+AMD CPU ( still maybe just so that u buy from them , but i dont think so )
