GPU Temp Question.

hello,

I currently just installed my new xfx ATI radeon 5770 and noticed the idle temp is 40c. Is that normal? when i play games, the temps hover around 47c.

Those are good temps. My cousin's 5750 idles at around the same as yours but on load, it sometimes goes up to 52C

Im sorry, i made a mistake. the gpu hovers around 57c-59c (not 47c like i stated) when i play Modern Warfare 2 or at full load. idle temps are still 40c though.

(my HIS HD4850 idle at 59' C and around 65' C at full load)

furmark can easily load cards upto high 80's and thats even fine
