Hi All,

I just picked up a Sony Ericsson S710A from my local Cingular store. I
like the phone but...there is no easy way to manually enter a URL using
the Media Net browser program. The only workaround is to set up each
address as a bookmark. You can't just enter a URL on the fly.

I confirmed this with the Cingular tech support folks. I spoke to
support at Sony Ericsson and they said there normally is an option for
entering a URL manually but it appears the Cingular software
implementation has disabled it.

So, the S710A will be going back to Cingular. Looks like I will be
picking up a Nokia 6620.

Wait till media net loads, and the "more" label for the right button is
displayed. Press the button, and select the "Enter URL" (or it maybe
"enter address") option.
