Will this graphics card work on my computer

Hello,
Will the nvidia 9800 run on my computer i Have a Dual Core with Win7 Ultimate 64bit 4Gb ram 500 GB of Hard Drive? My graphics card now is a Family Chip Set G-33/31 IT SUCKS and has the Blue PCI plug in so i don't know if i have a special plug for the higher quality or if you have to have one?

If your motherboard has a pci-e 16X slot (which i believe it has) and if your PSU can handle it, then the card will surely work..

Open up dxdiag and check in the first page.. It should be written system manufacturer and system model.. That'll give the motherboard name..

What exactly is the make and model of your computer?

If you are running on guest account on your PC then it'll report as motherboard unknown..

One way of knowing is opening your PC. Remove a couple of screws from the side panel with some ventilation holes. You should be able to see your motherboard's manufacturer and model.

you also should be able to see the model of your power supply so we can know if it is powerfull enough to run your 9800.
