Just got one quick question. Do I need to get an aftermarket cooler for this chip if I do not plan on overclocking? It's already at 3.4 and I don't see any need to OC it. I've heard sometimes that stock heatsinks don't work well with cpus so I was hoping in my case, the stock heatsink would be fine. Thanks.

For stock it would be plenty adequate.
Its rare when a stock cooler don't work well.

Thanks. I was just concerned that since it's such a powerful cpu that the stock heatsink might not do the job as well as it should...

The only reason for you to change the stock cooler is if the fan noise becomes annoying.
Something cheap like a CM Hyper TX3 would be fine if the noise of the stock fan bothers you.
